Recipe: Cookie Cup Sundaes

INGREDIENTS

  • Your favourite cookie recipe
  • Your favourite chocolate sauce and other toppings
  • 1 tub of your favourite Ben & Jerry’s ice cream flavour

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Total Time: 50 minutes 

Total Yield: 12 sundaes

  1. Preheat your oven and prepare your favorite cookie dough recipe. (We recommend a sugar cookie or molasses cookie recipe.) 

  2. Scoop the dough into a greased muffin pan using an ice cream scoop, dividing it evenly between 12 cups.

  3. Press down the center of each cookie with a small spice container, creating a cup shape. 

  4. Bake according to cookie recipe, then remove from the oven. Let the cookie cups cool in the muffin pan for 10 minutes, then gently remove each one and let them cool completely on a cooling rack. (Pro tip: If you’re not using all 12 cookie cups right away, place them on a tray in the freezer to harden. Then, before serving, let them sit out at room temperature for 10 minutes.) 

  5. Once the cookies are cool, scoop your favourite Ben & Jerry’s ice cream flavour into each cookie cup. Drizzle with chocolate sauce, top with your favourite toppings, and serve. Enjoy!
